How to Order

C&S Tools is located in Tokyo Japan.

We do not have a public storefront.

By informal arrangement with our suppliers we sell exclusively to Beloved Customers outside Japan to avoid competing domestically.

Despite geographical constraints we pride ourselves on our honesty, warranty, and speedy delivery. We ship directly from our own physical stock. We do not drop-ship. Period

Our business model is simple: We sell a few professional-grade tools hand-forged and hand-crafted by Japanese blacksmiths and toolmakers to those Beloved Customers who ask for them.

While many internet sales gurus eager to sell ecommerce systems and services heap scorn upon us for doing so, we conduct all sales transactions directly, without using a “platform,” “sales apps,” or a drop-shipping service. Consistent with our focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we are committed to personal interaction with our customers to ensure we understand their needs and expectations and they understand our products before any purchase, instead of an impersonal, brain-dead AI salesforce, or drop-shippers.

Accordingly, we do not carry the usual over-priced, hobbyist-grade, mass-produced, tool-shaped objects typically foisted on long-distance customers.

Our customers (aka “Beloved Customers”) are mostly professional woodworkers that value the capabilities, efficiencies and extreme performance our tools provide and who disdain the exaggerated marketing claims others spout.

Answers to most questions regarding the tools we carry and how to use and maintain them can be found in the many documents available in this blog, all for free.

Direct questions are always welcome, of course, and will be answered by a living human, not an AI or cyborg. To ask a question or to place an order, please contact us at: Covingtonandsons@gmail.com

Privacy Policy

We won’t share your information with anyone except the shipper you approve, or to PayPal if you select it, and even then only the bare minimum required to accomplish payment and/or delivery. We never authorize shippers or payment processors to share your information with any third parties regardless of their affiliation or insistence. Period.

Of course we never sell, share or profitably misplace our Beloved Customer’s information to other parties, whether organic, virtual, cybernetic, or supernatural.

But those familiar with how the digital world works nowadays are wise to doubt even sincere promises of fidelity, and especially corporate privacy policies written by conflicted legal beagles to not sell or share their information because many clever and powerful individuals and companies are unimaginably skilled at, and have become unimaginably wealthy through, data theft both legal and illegal. And, quite intentionally, corporate polices change daily, of course.

To protect against this, unlike nearly all retailers nowadays, we intentionally have no e-commerce platform, apps, online databases, or customer lists to hack or steal, nor an overbearing parent company, investors silent or otherwise, shadowy partners, IT consultant, marketing consultant, website consultant, or warehousing/drop-shipping, distribution vendor that might pickpocket your information for fun and profit. That’s what they always do, after all, so it’s safest if such nosy people and unethical AI bots can never touch your information. Don’t you agree?

And while this webpage is hosted on WordPress, no customer information whatsoever flows through WordPress, so there is nothing to hack.

Evil GoogleAnalytics, another app famous for underhanded data theft, is not used on this website.

No one can offer a better guarantee of privacy protection in the digital world ruled by Google, Apple, Amazon, Meta, the Chinese Communist Party, and other such orcs.

We look forward to hearing from you!
